The following is a recap of some of the questions and answers that were made during an episode of the Ask the Doctors Podcast with Dr. Karen Kan & Dr. Dennis Lobstein. These two individuals are amazing contributors to the LifeWave education community and I owe a lot of my learning and understanding around patching to their continual contribution to the community. I have recapped these questions to help me better learn and digest the information they share on their podcast. I trust you get the same value form them as I have.
During the Q&A session, several callers had inquiries regarding the patching techniques and specific points in relation to the different symptoms that they have been experiencing, looking for advice to help symptoms using LifeWave patches. Here are the summarized responses provided by Dr. Dennis and Dr. Karen:
Rita
Q: Can you suggest a patching approach that supports gut healing and is compatible with antihistamine foods like coffee, wine, and fermented foods (kefir, kombucha, yogurt)? I also have symptoms of redness, inflammation, and itching around the eyelids.
A: Gut toxins can lead to inflammation and hinder waste elimination. While fermented foods can help correct the bacterial balance, not everyone can tolerate them. In some cases, fermented foods may eliminate harmful bacteria or fungus, leaving behind problematic debris if not eliminated efficiently. Consider smaller doses.
Bladder 25 is the back SHU point for the large intestine organ. Applying the Energy Enhancer patch on this point may help stabilize colon qi. These back shu points address colon yin. If you experience inflammation, you can use Glutathione on the right and a tan patch, Carnosine, or X39 on the left.
If you're interested in learning more about histamine and cellular hydration, "You're Not Sick; You're Thirsty" is a recommended book. You may also explore water machines at www.drwillard.com, which offers a clear liquid supplement for improved cell hydration, as Dr. Karen uses in her water.
For eyelid symptoms related to spleen energy imbalance, consider using Spleen 4 and Pericardium 6 in combination. Apply a negative patch on the left Spleen 4, a positive patch on the right Pericardium 6, and a patch (like carnosine) on the right temple. Another option is to use Carnosine on the left and Glutathione on the right temples.
Liver Qi stagnation can affect the spleen, potentially leading to eyelid issues. Energy Enhancer on Liver 3 may be helpful. There's also a special point, Wei Guan Xiashu, located at T8 level between the diaphragm and the back SHU Point of the Bladder 18. It's bilateral between Bladder 17 and 18.

Q: Which patches would be beneficial for supporting balanced blood pressure?
A: Liver qi stagnation can lead to elevated blood pressure and headaches. Liver attacking the spleen disrupts the regulation of blood flow. Peripheral blood vessel constriction is another cause of high blood pressure. Simple Energy Enhancer patches on Liver 3 may help, or you can try X39 on the left Liver 3 and X49 on the right Gallbladder 41.
Ensure proper hydration with at least 2 liters of water daily, along with Himalayan salt.
Aeon patches can aid in balancing the autonomic nervous system, which regulates blood pressure. Follow the instructions in the brochure or apply them to the back of the neck for additional support.
Regular exercise can improve atrial natriuretic peptide levels, potentially reducing elevated blood pressure.

Q: Is there a patch protocol for an injured gluteal muscle causing left-sided back pain? This pain stems from a tendon issue following surgery and limits walking due to pain and weakness in the left leg and pelvis.
A: Try patching Gallbladder 34 with X39 on the left and X49 on the right. You can also use a Y-Age patch on the Life Gate at Governing Vessel 4. Alternatively, consider using IceWave on GV 34.
Q: Can you suggest a patch protocol for painful nerve tingling in the feet and fingers, unrelated to diabetes, which also affects balance and walking?
A: Enhancing circulation and Qi flow is crucial. Apply patches to key points like Bladder 17 for blood influence, Liver 3 to dispel stagnation, and Kidney 1 or 3 for nervous system regulation. X39/49 pairing on Bladder 17 is recommended. It's located at the T7 level on the back.
For Liver 3/Kidney 1 or 3, you can double patch with Energy Enhancer or Icewave patches, using white on the right and tan on the left. Alternatively, use tan on the left Liver 3 and white on the right Kidney 1 or 3. Another option is to apply Carnosine on the left and Aeon on the right Kidney 3. SP6C can be used instead of Carnosine on the left.

Q: I experience tremors in my neck and right hand. The tremors worsen during fine motor activities but stabilize when I extend my arm. How can I address this issue?
A: Try using IceWave patches on Triple Burner 10, located in the divot on the back of the elbow. Apply white on the right and tan on the left. This can improve Qi flow and support neck issues. You can also stack Carnosine on the left and Aeon (or Glutathione) on the right, double patching both points on top of the IceWave. Alternatively, use them at night to avoid potential sleepiness from Aeon during the day.
Consider addressing the cerebellum by applying a left X39 on Gallbladder 20 and a right X49 to bracket the cerebellar area. The Nirvana patch on the right Triple Burner 17 and SP6C on the left are alternative options.
Q: I'm currently following a brain balance protocol. How can I address kidney yin deficiency, which leads to fatigue, sleep disturbances, and excessive urination?
A: To support kidney yin deficiency, consider tonifying Kidney 3 with Energy Enhancer patches. These patches enhance energy production and promote a healing state. Address sleep disturbances and stress by alternating with Bladder 23 with Energy Enhancer patches. Bladder 23 is the back SHU Point for the kidney.
Additionally, use X39 on Conception Vessel 4 or 6 to create a beneficial triangle effect. You can also try the Five Elements rotation by focusing on Water element points (Kidney 3 on the left and Bladder 60) every other day, alternating with other points.
Continue with the Aeon brain balancing protocol on your preferred 2-3 points and consider adding www.drwillard.com water for improved micro-clustering. Ensure you maintain sufficient Himalayan crystal salt for electrolyte support and adrenal health.

Q: I have knee pain due to bone-on-bone contact, making it difficult to bend or stand for extended periods. The pain is on the inner side of the right kneecap. Can you suggest a patching approach?
A: Consider using the IceWave protocol on Kidney 1, along with Carnosine and Glutathione on the centerline. Address alignment issues with your knees, such as inward caving and flat feet.
Add X39/49 patches to support stem cell production. If you're vegan, consider adding copper and/or alanine supplements. Consult a holistic nutritionist for guidance.

Q: I suffer from spinal stenosis, causing radiating pain into my head and arm(s), along with intermittent numbness in my fingertips and arms upon waking. Can you suggest patching points for relief?
A: Try arcing Triple Burner 10 points with IceWave or X39 on the left and X49 on the right. This can enhance energy in the affected area.
